After the harrowing incident last Wednesday, Shruthi Hassan filed an FIR with the Bandra police, to hunt down the man who has been stalking the actress and has allegedly tried to break into her house. The stalker, now identified as Ashok Chander Thirumukhe, was arrested by the Mumbai police, with the help of the proof and sketches that Shruthi had provided of him.
However, Ashok refuses claims of attacking the actress. A Bollywood helper by profession, Ashok agrees to have tried to reach Shruthi on many occasions, but defends himself that he was not stalking her, but was only trying to recommend a job for his brother. Explaining further on the incident, Ashok says he had inferred that Shruthi was in need of an assistant, and he had approached her to get that job for his brother. However, the suspect refuses the complaints that he had been stalking her or that he attacked the actress.
