Actress Shruti Hassan was admitted in Apollo Hospital last night following a severe abdominal pain. The doctors diagnosed it as Apendix and suggested an immediate surgery. Further news is still to be known.

Shruti Hassan is in town to launch the Mobile application of her upcoming flick 'Yevadu' as a part of the film's promotional campaign. As soon as the team left Rainbow Pub where the event happened, she caught up with pain and was immediately taken to the hospital.

At present, she is doing two films in Telugu viz., Yevadu about to release and 'Race Gurram', the Allu Arjun starrer. She is also acting a Bollywood film titled 'Welcome Back'
