The cast and crew of ‘180’, including protagonists Siddarth, Priya Anand, Nithya Menon and director Jayendra, met the media in Chennai Thursday, to unveil the first look and teasers of the film.

Siddarth, who is back in Kollywood after a long gap of seven years, used the occasion to deny an allegation on him- that he prefers to work only with big directors like Shankar and Mani Ratnam.

“It is not true. I am not here to work with big names alone. But at the same time, how could I say no when I got opportunity to work in movies such as Boys and Ayudha Ezhuthu,” the chocolate hero asked.

Saying that he had worked with eight new directors out of the 14 films he did so far in Telugu, Siddarth, who is a popular hero in Tollywood, said, “180 is my ninth movie with a new director.”

On his part, Jayendra said, “the film is about the power of the moment. The character played by Siddarth discovers one fine day that life is not about past or present but living the moment and appreciating it.”

Sathyam Cinemas and Aghal Films have jointly produced ‘180’, which has music by Mollywood composer Sharreth and cinematography by P C Sreeram’s former associate Balasubramaniam.
