Siddharth - Pizza director's 'Jigarthanda' starts today

Karthik Subbaraj, the director of most critically acclaimed thriller film 'Pizza', will be directing Siddharth in a film, which will be launched today.

The film will be launched in Madurai, and this is going to be Siddharth's 20th feature film as an actor. The film is titled as 'Jigarthanda'. As for his first film, the director has chosen the name of a food item even for this movie.'Jigarthanda' is the name of a south Indian beverage.

Kathiresan, the producer of National award winning film 'Aadukalam', will produce this film. Santhosh Narayan, the music director of 'Pizza', will be composing tunes.

Simhaa, Karuna, Lakshmi Menon etc play the pivotal characters in the movie
