Though he is modest enough to confess that audience knows him in the capacity of a new youngster on the block and it is still some time before they could be call themselves as his fans, one film old Sidharth Malhotra agrees that he is now much more particular about how he sorts out his wardrobe, dresses up and makes public appearances.

Laughs Sidharth, "You know, I have an amusing story to tell here. After the release of 'Student of the Year', I just stepped into a market to buy some hangers for my clothes.

Since I bought a lot of them, it was quite a handful for me. The shopkeeper was then polite enough to tell me that 'Please send the driver, I will deliver these hangers for you'.

Ab main kya bolta ki I don't have a driver? You should have seen that shopkeeper's face. He made that expression that ‘yaar, yeh kaisa hero hai ki iske paas driver bhi nahi hai aur khud hi sab kaam karta hai’."

"I knew there and then that to be in the industry and strike well, you need to carry a certain persona that is expected out of you. I am conscious about that now", he smiles before signing off.
