After the success of Khaaka Khaaka, producer Kalaipuli S Thanu has begun his next venture. The movie has Silambarasan in the lead role and acting opposite to him is actress Gopika, who shot her way to fame playing the heroine in Cheran's Autograph. Durai, who directed movies including Mugavari with Ajith playing the hero and Kadhal Sadugudu starring Vikram, is wielding the megaphone for the movie titled Thotti Jaya.

Durai says, 'it's an action-packed story. Silambarasan plays the role which is packed with punch and power all through'. The actor, who plays a romantic youth in his forthcoming release Manmathan says, 'Thotti Jaya is an excellent story which I did not want to miss. As soon as I heard the story I decided to do the role'.

Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music, while camera is Rajasekhar. The cinematographer's work in Khaakha Khaaka won rave reviews. Attracted by his excellent job in his Manmathan, Silambarasan is said to have insisted on Rajasekhar cranking the camera for Thotti Jaya.

The muhurat for the movie was held a few days ago in Chennai in which who's who of Kollywood and MDMK general secretary Vaiko participated.

'The shooting would be held at rapid pace and the movie would be released soon. Hope Thotti Jaya recreates the magic of Khaakha Khaakha', says Thanu.
