Simbu’s 'Osthi' flagged off!

He can sing, he can dance and he can act well too! And at the moment he is shooting for his upcoming flick 'Osthi'. There now you got the guy we are discussing. Simbu is touted to fit the role played by Salman Khan in the original 'Dabangg.' He will be seen playing a cop in the film.

The shoot for the Tamil remake under the direction of Dharani began in Mysore on Sunday where a huge set has been erected for the first schedule.

Richa Gangopadhyay will play his love interest in the film whilst Sonakshi Sinha played the role in the original. Simbu will also be filming the first schedule of Osthi non-stop for 35 days, reveal sources!

A true workaholic Simbu is!

Simbu is also busy with his other projects 'Podaa Podi' where he will be seen opposite Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, with the film being the latter's launch pad in to the Tamil film industry. Simbu also has begun filming for 'Vettai Mannan' which will see Jai in an important role.

Sources close to the films tar have revealed that Simbu is hitting the gym regularly to look like a cop that he will essay in the film. It looks like he has also received some apt tips from the original Chulbul Pandey, Salman!
