Erstwhile star actress Simran, who left films after her marriage, is back to filmdom.--this time through Malluwood.
After much discussion, she had agreed to play the female lead in the new film directed by Vinoo Anand, titled as Heartbeats.
The suspenseful character that Simran present in the movie is named as Thankam. This campus based film has Indrajeet and Manikuttam as the heroes.
The film which is planned to start its shooting by the first week of next month has the scripts by Babu Janardhanan, who has penned the scripts for the last year's award winner' Vaasthavam.
Jagathy, Cochin Haneefa, Charuhasan, Shreejith Ravi and Anoopchandran are the other prominent members in the cast.
Simran had earlier been to Malluwood opposite Mammootty in the film Indraprastham which came out in 1997.
