IndiaGlitz had earlier reported that director Venkat Prabhu's much expected sequel to his debut film 'Chennai 600028' is getting ready to hit the screens in September. Now the team is on the right track to hit the target.

The shooting of this sequel titled as 'Chennai 600028 II-Second Innings' has neared completion with just four days of shoot pending. which is likely to be done in the mid of August.

Without waiting for the shooting wrap up, VP who is also producing this flick under his Black Ticket Company banner has started working on the post production and dubbing and these process have been progressing on the desired pace.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is rendering the musical score and we can expect the audio release by the end of August and he will also complete the background music for the film by that time.

We can also expect another teaser or the trailer to be released soon after the phenomenal successful first teaser that was released a few weeks ago.

'Chennai 600028 II' retains almost all the actors who acted in the first part apart from Vaibhav and Mahath who were introduced by Venkat Prabhu in 'Saroja' and 'Mankatha' respectively.
