Even after a decade from his death, it is still the 'Nadigar Thilagam' who revives and rules the box office. Late last year, one of his classics 'Karnan' was digitized and released, that saw huge success in the box office.

Following that, his 'Vasantha Maaligai' has now been digitized and is running successfully. Now distributors deem it safe to invest on the old classics, than the brand new films. Currently, 'Veerapandiya Kattabomman', 'Paasa Malar' and 'Puthiya Paravai' are under digitization. Of these, 'Paasa Malar' (digital) is expected to hit the screens next month.
