The police officials in Guntur have shifted Telugu actor Sivaji to hospital on Wednesday as his health condition deteriorated. Demanding special category status to the residue state of Andhra Pradesh, Sivaji went on an indefinite hunger strike from May 3.

After a team of doctors advised authorities to shift him to hospital in view of his deteriorating condition, police cracked down on his hunger strike camp and forcibly shifted him to a hospital in an ambulance.
