The shoot of Sivaji is always in the news.

Currently, the Rajinikanth-Shankar-AVM combo movie is being shot in Thiruporur near Chennai.

A stunt scene involving Rajini was being canned when the local forest authorities arrived on the scene and said that area was under their control and the film crew had no permission to shoot there.

But Shankar & Co said that as far as they knew the place was under the purview of the Highways department and that they had got permission from them.

The forest officials then left the place. But that wasn't the end of the matter.

By evening, the same officials again arrived at the set and charged the film crew of shooting without any permission.

And what more, they arrested two unit members and took them into their custody. They were charged with shooting without permission and felling trees in designated forest area.

This was a major shock to Rajini and Shankar. But quickly they got into the act and set out to get the two released.

The two members were eventually released after paying a fine of Rs.50,000.

It might all have been due to some miscommunication as Rajini-Shankar-AVM are all known for their integrity and they were under the impression that they had permission from the right authorities.
