Siva's Movie Stops Minor Marriage

Apart from entertainment value, movies have traditionally been used as a means to subtly yet strongly convey social messages to people at large. Over the years, the latter has taken a back seat and the former has been ruling the roost. But the trend of movies with a message is back, and the esteem of pioneer on the mission to educate in the recent times, has been clinched by Siva Karthikeyan starrer 'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam'. A minor girl in Tirupur has plucked up the courage to stop the unlawful marriage which she was spoken into, taking inspiration from the comic flick.

Hearing this news, Siva is happy and triumphant of the gesture, and is pleased that his movie has inspired people to take bold decisions. Passing on the credits to director Ponram on the consistent success of VVS on entertainment as well as awareness fronts, Siva says that his upcoming flick 'Maan Karate' will also have an underlying message of awareness for the audience.
