After Nanban`, Vijay has chosen to experiment in a different role in Puli`, which though got mixed reviews from critics has found its own audiences especially children.

The producers of Puli` P.T. Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens have officially announced the first week worldwide collection of the film which clearly shows that the Illayathalapathy indeed rules the box office and is a clear indication that the film will touch the 100 crore mark pretty soon.
