Nawazuddin Siddiqui had a lived life the hard way before entering Bollywood. He once worked as a watchman during his struggling days and now will be play the role of a failed actor in his next.

Ever since Nawazuddin appeared in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Kahaani’, he has not had to look back. The actor even went on to win the National Award recently for his performance in ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’. However, as ironical as it may sound the actor apparently will be playing the role of a failed actor in Dibakar Banerjee’s film.

In fact, before he became an actor, Nawaz even worked as a watchman in Delhi. Revealed a source, "While working as a security guard, Nawaz developed an interest in theatre. He even continued working as a watchman after he arrived in Mumbai to try his hand at acting. He got a small role in Peepli [Live] and his career took off from there. He have given spectacular performances since in movies like Kahaani, Gangs Of Wasseypur and Talaash."

Saying that it was all about waiting for the right opportunity, Nawaz said, "I have done a lot of jobs before I became an actor. I cannot forget my struggling days."
