Sneha, who is keen on playing versatile roles, is now playing the role of a young widow, which most contemporary heroines would dare not to venture.

In her forthcoming film, ABCD directed by Citizen fame Saravana Subbiah, she plays a young widow. She won accolades for playing the role of the inspirational friend in Cheran's Autograph. She hopes her role in ABCD will win her more accolades.

In ABCD, she plays a young widow but her character has an interesting twist. She suffers marital violence and declines to sport all the traditional symbols of marriage such as thali and bindi. Once her husband dies, she takes to all colours again.

Interestingly, director Saravana Subbiah himself is tipped to play the husband's role. Yet another case of director turning a actor. Also in the cast include Shaam, Nandhana.
