The teaser of 'Sarabha' was released on Monday. Starring Akash Kumar and Mishti Charavarthy, the film has been directed by N Narasimha Rao.

Speaking at the event, Dil Raju said, "Narasimha Rao has worked as a co-director in our banner in the past. When he once told me he had a nice story, I asked him to tell me a revolutionary subject. After a few days, he called me up and told me that he had a socio-fantasy story. 'Are you mad? What did I ask and what are you offering me?' is what I said in reply. He showed me the teaser of 'Sarabha' a few days ago. There is a magic in it. If the same magic is there in the film, it is going to be a big hit. A passionate producer alone can make a film like this."

The director said, "I had worked in direction department for 20 years. Once I had the entire script ready, I tried to team up with a hero for two years. But it didn't work out. I approached several producers, all of whom liked the story. But they were not ready to invest so much. When I met this producer (Ashwini Kumar Sahadev) and narrated to him the story, he suggested some changes. I didn't accept them. Two days later, he offered to produce the movie. He wanted me to do it with his son, Akash Kumar. I said no. But four days after spending time with him, I felt he is the right guy. 'I will step aside if you think your future will be spoilt because of me,' he told me. This made me want to team up with him. I made him learn the languages for 6 months. I made him do workouts for 8 months. The producer has spent Rs. 30 crore. Moreover, he has put his son's future in my hands."

Akash said, "We have been doing this film for 3.5 years now. It has been a great experience. It has been working with the likes of Jayaprada, Tanikella Bharani and Nasser. During the journey, I learnt that I didn't choose the film. Rather the film chose me. I thank the director for keeping faith in me."

Sai Madhav Burra said, "I am happy to have got to write dialogues for a very good story like this. Narasimha Rao garu has got a grand vision. The screenplay has got 10 times better on the screen."

Ponvannan, LB Sreeram, Prudhvi, Sjayaji Shinde and Charandeep are part of the cast. The well-known Indian VFX studio FireFly and world-renowned prosthetic make-up technician, Sean Foot have worked on the film. Music is by Koti. The cinematography is by Ramana Salva. Editing is by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and art direction is by Kiran Kumar Manne. Trotsky Marudu is the Visual Effects Supervisor.
