Sohum Shah's next film 'Tumbad' creates mystery

After his well-acclaimed debut with 'Ship Of Theseus' Sohum Shah will soon be seen in his forthcoming release titled 'Tumbad'. Produced by Recyclewala films, the title of the film gets quite intriguing and creates mystery around the film.

Just like Aamir Khan's film, 'Ghajini' got people curious about the title, same way the title 'Tumbad' has created the mystery around it, with the audiences being oblivious to what the title means and making them quite inquisitive to know what it means. Audiences are however trying to figure out what the reason behind the title. It sets a unique and unusual title for a film and thus generates curiosity amongst the audience.

The film is being directed by Rahi Anil Barve and marks his debut. The makers had also performed several test shoots before zeroing on to Sohum Shah's look. The actor who gathered huge appreciation for his sensitive role of a stockbroker in 'Ship Of Theseus' has undergone a striking physical transformation and has bulked up for his character in Tumbad.

'Tumbad' is a dark period thriller set against the backdrop of colonial India and infused with elements of fantasy.
