Sonakshi's 'Dabangg' entry with Rajini

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha who making her Tamil entry in ‘Lingaa’ that is being directed by K.S.Ravikumar is all excited to act opposite Superstar Rajikanth, in her debut film in the language.

The ‘Dabang’ actress who is currently shooting in Mysore said, “It feels great to be a part of a Tamil film and I couldn’t have asked for a better debut. I started my Bollywood career with Salman Khan and in Tamil, I’ve done it with the Superstar himself ! It is definitely a dabangg entry for me!”

The story written by Pon Kumaran for this film reportedly travels across two generations. One will be set in 1940’s and another pertains to the current generation. Rajini plays dual roles in the film. While Sonakshi will be part of the 1940’s sequences, Anushka who has been roped as another lead lady of the film will be part of the latter one.

“I am part of the 1940s generation and I play a girl who helps Rajinikanth. The look and the setting are completely new and I am quite kicked about my part.” says the elated lass.

The shoot of ‘Lingaa’ commenced last Friday (May 2) in Mysore. Double Oscar winner A.R.Rahman will be composing music for the flick. Rathnavelu who worked for Superstar’s ‘Enthiran’ is cranking the camera. The film is being produced on a grand scale by Rockline Venkatesh.
