After 'Ardhamaindhaa' comes 'Johnny Johnny' from 'Kittu Unnadu Jagratha'. Here is our review of the song.

One of the few male leads out there to have penned a song, Raj Tarun goes for youthful lyrics that are targeted at the irreverent guys who have lost their girl friend but not their spirits. Lines like 'Peekala daki thagi solo life enjoy cheddama' are not novel. The lyrics lament the ambivalence of 'ammayilu' and deploy slang terminology rather liberally.

We have known Anup Rubens-style party songs that come with a folkish touch. This song is on the expected lines.

With vocals coming from Ranjith and additional vocals from Anurag Kulakarni, 'Johnny Johnny' is an okayish product.
