Sonu Sood has bagged three of the biggest films made in the country today - Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 2', Rajnikanth's 'Rana' and Amitabh Bachchan's 'Bbuddah....Hoga Tera Baap'. Naturally he is excited about playing a baddie in the first two films while the third has him playing a cop. For an actor who has been around for a decade now, this is a good career progression as he went slow though certainly steady.

When asked if in retrospective he feels that that it was a right decision after all to be selective in his choice of movies, Sonu says, "When you taste blood and work with directors like Ashutosh Gowariker (Jodhaa Akbar), Anees Bazmee (Singh Is Kinng) and Mani Ratnam (Yuva), you set a benchmark for yourselves. You know from that point on that what you want to do."

It is the same reasoning that he extended for his current choice of films as well when instead of going on a signing spree post the blockbuster success of 'Dabangg', he waited for a while before giving his nod to newer films.

"This is the reason why I do films like 'Dabangg', 'Rana' or 'Bbuddah....Hoga Tera Baap' because I can see that these films would justify my selective approach," smiles Sonu.

We hope the end result is justified as well Sonu.
