Grapevine has it that the much expected audio of ‘Neethanae En Ponvasantham’ composed by maestro Ilayaraja will be unveiled in July. Meanwhile the audio rights have been acquired by Sony Music. It is said that NEP’s audio rights price tag was fancier than that of blockbuster ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’!

As per a media house the deal was closed for Rs. 2.5 crore for NEP and its Telugu versions!

The film by Gautham Menon is produced by RS Infotainment and has Jiiva and Samantha in lead roles in the Tamil version. Santhanam and Anupama Kumar play pivotal roles in it. The film is a romantic entertainer that is touted to see Jiiva and Samantha in three stages of life and love, right from their school days.

NEP is likely to release in August or September.
