The Railway ministry in India has signed two MoU`s with Swiss counterpart to study and develop trains that will tilt while approaching on bends with precision. As a train approaches a curve it tends to cause the objects to slide and eventually give a rough experience to the passengers.

The current memorandum will enable Railways to work with Swiss authorities and result in quality passenger experience not compromising on safety too. These type of trains already exist in 11 countries - Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, Russia, the Czech Republic, the UK, Switzerland, China, Germany and Romania.
