With more and more Bollywood directors reportedly watching Telugu and Tamil movies with curiosity, it is not surprising that some of them find acting talent in South Indian films. Illeana, Kajal Agarwal and Tapsee Pannu are the heroines who are having a heyday there in Bollywood.

Even as Illeana awaits the release of Barfee, she has signed on a film opposite Akshay Kumar. Titled as Khiladi 786, this film is slated to be released for Diwali. It also stars Himesh Reshammiya and all fans of Illeana pray that she is not serenading him in the movie.

Kajal Agarwal has a film opposite, again, Akshay. The film that bears the working title 'Special Chabbis', will be helmed by Neeraj Pandey of 'A Wednesday' fame that is based on a 1987 jewellery heist in Mumbai. Kajal made her B-town debut with 'Singham' (a remake of Suriya starrer 'Singam'), which became a blockbuster hit. It is further said that Akshay was smitten by her performance and found her apt for this film and was keen in featuring her as his lead lady.

Tapsee Pannu is struggling to gain a foothold in Telugu (though Gundello Godari and Shadow will hopefully redeem her), but she has a film titled as Chashme Baddoor in Hindi. This one is a remake of a 1981 hit film of the same title, and one hopes that David Dhawan will not let her down. Of course, this does not come across as a big entertainer, but it will be popular with certain sections of the movie-goers.
