'Spirit' free of Tax

Director Ranjith’s new movie Spirit, which vehemently has stood for a anti-alcohol message, has been exempted from entertainment tax by the Kerala government. The movie which has Mohanlal in the lead as an addicted alcoholic writer who finally find ways to reform was opined to be a wiser movie to talk to alcohol loving youngsters of the state who has made the state one of the biggest in terms of alcoholic beverages consumption. Mohanlal has also put up a life like outstanding performance as the central character which is another highlight of the film.

Spirit which will now have a twenty percent reduction in ticket rates is expected to pickup in collections soon.
