A source close to the makers of 'Spyder' has revealed that the mega-budgeted movie will hit the screens on August 11. It was said that the film will be released on Mahesh Babu's birthday. But since it's a Wednesday, the makers couldn't have found it suitable. It's releasing on the usual suspect: a Friday.

As for the shooting, AR Murugadoss and team will start shooting from May 3 in Hyderabad. By the end of the month or so, 'Spyder' will have been wrapped up for good.

The delay in the film's release has caused much disappointment among fans. However, they are confident that ARM knows it best. Shot in places as varied as Mumbai, Chennai, Vietnam and Hyderabad, the film has music by Harris Jayaraj. Rakul Preet Singh is the heroine. SJ Suryah is the antagonist.
