Creating fear among the viewers in the name of devotion is not the right way of making a film. Director Saiprakash with the obsolete theme offers nothing new but put the audience in fear. Belief is different but bringing fear and forcing the people to accept things is not the methodology. The affection and admiration should come from the bottom of the heart.

With the routine tale in the two hours `Sri Nagashakthi' director Saiprakash explained the power of Snake God. For the mistake committed by father the trouble shoots in the life of the daughter. Is it because the hero declined to look ugly on the screen?

In the family the eldest son Naganna (Shivakumar) is devoted to Snake God rituals. He has taken oath to remain bachelor and offer prayers till the end of his life. The younger brother Seshanna (Ramkumar) is married to Nagarathna (Shruthi) and blessed with girl who is Nagasundari (Baby Krithika).

The dance troupe that comes to village (Sangeetha and others) with vicious mind disturbs by seducing the bachelor Naganna and that results in snake god get angry. Naganna is killed in the snake bite and his brother Seshanna is angry on Snake God of the family. He demolishes the snake house that again leads to revenge on Seshanna by one of the snakes.

Instead of attacking Seshanna his daughter is attacked by the snake God. The superior Nagachandrika (Chandrika in the snake god) watching all these developments intervene to save the life of child Naga Sundari but Seshanna and family take a trip to Snake God temples to do ritual for the safety of the child.

Shruthi is one song before the climax chasing the snake urging it not to attack her daughter has given good performance. Ramkumar and Shivakumar are OK. Baby Krithika affected with trouble has shown grit and determination.

Sri Ganesh only one song is tolerable and cinematography by C Narayan deserved to be better. The graphics at some places is not of high standards.
