Srikanth has woven many family hits in ‘Rojakoottam’, ‘Parthiban Kanavu’, ‘Oru Naal Oru Kanavu’, ‘Uyir’, ‘Poo’ etc. But his last two films ‘Rasikkum Seemane’ and ‘Kutrapirvu’ were just average at the box office and the actor is now setting his eyen on Malayalam. Srikanth’s is all set to make his debut in Malayalam according to some latest reports circulating.

The reports say director TS Suresh Babu is planning a sequel to hit film 'Uppukandam Brothers', and has approached Srikanth to do film. The original 'Uppukandam Brothers' released in 1993.

Srikanth is adding to the list of popular Tamil actors venturing in Malayalam that already has big names like Sarath Kumar and Parthiban of late.
