There was a time when top producers used to queue up to make films with Srikanth. After a short but successful stint at stardom, Srikanth, like many of his contemporaries, lost his ground quite early in the day. Forget about making bucks, two of his films have been languishing in studios for many months.

Anucharudu, starring himself and Tarun, was launched in December, 2010. Yet, the movie has not seen any progress. It is said that producer Praveen Bala has been facing a finance crunch and thus the delay. Sevakudu, was started two years back, but this Charmme-starrer, directed by Samudra, is yet to see the light of the day. Reason for the delay? Producer Sudhar's problems with finance.

Srikanth's career has been punctuated with films like Khadgam, Radha Gopalam and Mahatma, but excitement around him has died down long back.

The actor and his director, Neelakantha, hoped that Virodhi will win a National Award. It added to Sri’s disappointment when it did not happen. Let's wish him all the very best as he gears up to make a comeback with Devaraya and All The Best.
