Srikanth is acting in the lead in a film directed by Nani Krishna, the director of his 'Devaraya'. The launch of the movie has been done at Annapurna studios in Hyderabad.

Hero Gopichand has given the clap, C.R.Manohar switched on the camera and B.Gopal has done the direction for the first shot. Nani Krishna is also producing this movie under Nani gadi cinema banner with the blessings from C.R.Manohar.

Srikanth says,"Nani Krishna is the best in the new directors I have worked with recently. Natukodi will be a full length entertainer in a village backdrop. The film is comprised of comedy and sentiment and I am confident that it becomes a good family entertainer".

Nani Krishna says," I am inspired by a line from Yandamuri Veerendranath's novel 'The diary of Mrs.Saradha', which reads "All the people in this world are bad, but due to the lack of opportunities some will remain as good ones" . The story revolves around a good police father and a corrupt rural inspector son. Kota Srinivasa rao will act as a constable and Srikanth's father. This is an out and out mass masala entertainer and there are good doses of enterteinment".

M.S.Narayana, Jeeva, Kondavalasa, Raghu, Prabhu, Chitti, Satyanarayana Reddy etc will be seen in other characters
