'Always Kabhi Kabhi' is close to Shahrukh Khan's heart, especially so since this is the first teen comedy that he had made ever since he turned producer.

"He was all there for the film," says Giselli Monteiro, the film's leading lady, "In fact right through the making of the film Shahrukh did have suggestions for all of us actors. However he used to pass them on to (director) Roshan Abbas who further helped us with our scenes."

Giselli is right here as Roshan too has confirmed how Shahrukh used to record videos of certain scenes and share them with him so that he could educate the gang of boys. The intention was not to copy Shahrukh but to catch nuances of acting.

"That's true," she smiles, "I am told that Shahrukh didn't intend to impose himself on us or inhibit us with his presence. He wanted us to be plain natural and be on our own rather than worry about what he thought of our performance."

'Always Kabhi Kabhi' releases all over on 17th June.
