As producer Yalamanchi Sai Babu said, Sri Rama Rajyam would be dubbed into Malayalam. The makers have waited for long to release the film there so as to time it for the Karkidakam month, which is regarded as holy by the Hindu community in the State of Kerala.

To increase the movie's appeal, the film is being advertised as a partial fund-raiser for the Sri Padmanabha Swamy temple. The ads for the movie are carrying this message: "A portion of the revenue will be donated to Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple."

Releasing as it does in a holy month, SRR has another major advantage. Telugu films are becoming popular in Kerala, as evidenced by the popularity enjoyed by Allu Arjun and now Eega.
