There were reports in a section of media that Sruthi was behind parting of ways between Kamal Haasan and Gautami. It was the result of a Tweet made by Sruthi which was interpreted wrongly. The tweet is given below:

Sruthi stated that she has not made any comments regarding the separation. She added she has not said anything about anybody`s personal life or their decisions. In everything she has stood by her father and her sister, clarified the actress.
There were reports earlier that Sruthi had clashes with Gautami regarding the costumes for the upcoming flick of Kamal which has Sruthi as the lead lady. Another allegation was that Sruthi got angry with Gauthami for informing them late about the Kamal`s accident in which he was seriously injured and had to undergo surgery.
