Yesterday (April 24) was the polling day in all 39 Lok Sabha constituencies of Tamilnadu The state politics and Tamil cinema always have a close connection and yesterday the spotlight was on the Tinsel town stars who casted their votes in various polling stations across the state.

Superstar Rajinikanth was the first to vote among tinsel town celebrities. If the polling started at 7 am, the star reached the polling booth at Stella Maris College at 6:45 am and waited for the polling process to get ready. Since the electoral staff was in a hurry to start the polling in order to reduce the waiting time of the Superstar, they forgot to ink the index finger of the actor before he voted. Onlookers revealed that he did not even wave his hand because if he does that the fans will roar and whistle in cheer leading to the calmness of the venue getting affected. Sources say that equal credit should go to the public who had gathered to vote, for not disturbing Ajith’s privacy. Ajith was also spotted talking with the person standing behind him in the queue.
