Stunt men injured in Anniyan shoot

Nine stunt men that took part in the rehearsals for an action scene during the shooting of `Anniyan’ got injured.

The shooting took part in JJ indoor stadium in Chennai. The stunt men as per the scene were tied to a rope and hung upside down. Hanging upside down they were to indulge in the fight. The rope, which held them gave way and the stunt men, crashed down from the balcony. The injuries are serious. The stunt men are undergoing treatment in a private hospital.

The film has Vikram- Sada in the lead under Shankar’s direction. The fight master is Peter Heynes. Oscar films produce the film and the film is insured by IDBI
