B-town original show man alive Subash Gahi has cleared the rumors of Big B starring in his forthcoming Sarabjit.

Subash gahi has issued statement saying, "In our forthcoming film Sarabjit to be directed by Ishwar Singh and starring Sonakshi Sinha and Anurag Sinha, I need to clarify that Amitabh Bachchan is not in the film. Yes we did approach him but after reading the script, he informed us that he was playing a lawyer's role in another film that he had already committed to...We mutually agreed not to cast him in this film, though i would have loved to have worked with a Legend like him. So now we are still talking to other actors for this role and will soon be announcing the name."

It must recalled that decades ago earlier during Big B’s unstoppable regime at the box office Subash Ghai announced Devaa with Big B in lead in 1987.

Readers of those times will get a flashback of the grand Mahurat of the film where Big B gave the mahurat shot standing with a mashaal in his hand, wearing a long shining robe and a turban, somewhat similar to his look in "Khuda Gawah".

Devaa got shelved due to some issues between Big B and Subash Ghai who later vowed never to work with Amitabh Bachchan again.
