'Sundarapandian' to speak in Telugu

Sasikumar's latest offering 'Sundarapandian' is impressing people beyond borders, so to speak. For a Tollywood filmmaker has expressed keen interest to remake the movie in Telugu.

He is Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao, who is in the spotlight for his spoof 'Sudigadu' (remake of 'Tamizh Padam'). "Srinivasa Rao watched Sundarapandian recently and was bowled over by the film," sources said.

They added that the Telugu director is keen at starting the remake and would cast a top hero as the protagonist and a leading actress as the heroine.

Directed by Prabhakar, a former associate of Sasikumar, 'Sundarapandian' featured the 'Subramanyapuram' maker as a romantic hero for the first time. Lakshmi Menon played the heroine.
