That Suniel Shetty is a family man is a known fact. What is not known though is that he is gearing up to a film which is personally dedicating to his children Athiya (daughter) and Ahan (son). Based on the menace of drug abuse, Shetty is super charged about this film which has been titled 'Rave'. Through this film, he wants to pass on the message of the ill effects of drugs to not just his own but also millions of other children belonging to the same generation.

"I have caught hold of this wonderful script which is based on the menace of drugs and how it is affecting kids all over, especially in the urban parts of the country," says Shetty for whom this would be another issue based cinema after 'Red Alert', "I am so kicked about doing this film since my own kids are growing up. I want to do this film for them; it is the right thing for me as an actor."

'Rave' would be directed by Shetty's close friend and associate Nawab Shah. The film would be exposing the nexus between high society drug peddlers who hobnob with the rich and the powerful and supply the booty. Shetty plays a cop who tracks entire movement of drugs from far away Afghanistan to Mumbai.

"Now that I have spent two decades in the industry, the role suits me just fine," says Shetty who is happy to turn over a new page in his acting career, "The urge to do fantastic cinema has really set in now. Earlier I was scared to do cinema which was not commercially viable as I used to wonder whether the producer would end up loosing money. But now with market opening up for different films, I am fine with experimenting."

Hope the audience is equally 'raving' about this experiment.
