Is Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' overtaking Shankar's '2.0' ?

Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' directed by Pa. Ranjith is making great progress in Mumbai shooting with an enviable star cast comprising of Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani, Sayaji Shinde, Huma Quereshi, Easwari Rao, Suganya, Sampathraj and others.

A news that is gathering momentum in Kollywood is that there could be a delay in the completion of post production of Shankar's '2.0' forcing a move of the release date from January 25th 2018 to April that year. If this info is proved correct then 'Kaala' would be the grand Pongal 2018 release. However, we have to wait for official word to decide which Thalaivar treat we are going to have first in the new year.
