Actress Surabhi who debuted with the hit film Ivan Veramathiri directed by Saravanan is going to act with Dhanush. The actress has revealed that she has signed to play a crucial role in Dhanush-Amala Paul starrer Velaiyilla Pattadhari which is the debut directorial venture of Cinematographer Velraj.

Surabhi refused to reveal anything more about the role she will be playing in the film but has assured that it will be an interesting one. The scenes that will have the actress are going to be shot in Chennai in the next few days.

Surabhi also said that she will soon be landing the lead heroine role in a Tamil film associated with big names in Kollywood.
