After being in the controversy for airing his opinion blatantly about the Film Chamber's decision to restrict actors from appearing on television, Superstar Suresh Gopi has now apologised to all who was affected by his remarks. Speaking to a news channel, he assured that he will take care not to express his view so openly in this controversy.

It was actor Jagadeesh, who sharply responded to Suresh Gopi's earlier opinions, with a suggestion about the superstar's differences in opinion with another 'actor from Kollam', (currently doing another TV show) which could have prompted him to support the TV ban. But Suresh Gopi made it clear yesterday that he had no such enmity with the said actor and was with him for a movie, a month before. “Since I am a member of AMMA and haven't yet accepted money for appearing in televising programmes, I thought it as my responsibility to go as per AMMA's previous decisions”, added Suresh Gopi. He also requested Jagadeesh, not to drag his name into further controversies.
