The shoot for the new movie 'Melvilasam' in which Suresh Gopi is appearing as a defense lawyer is almost complete. Shot simultaneous for its Tamil and Malayalam versions, the movie will have Suresh Gopi as the defence lawyer Vikas Roy while Tamil actor Parthiban will come up as the lead character Jawan Ramachandran, who is facing court martial for killing two fellow Jawans.

The movie also made in Tamil in the title 'Ulvailasam' will be a two hour affair shot in a single sequence of an army court. Parthiban will himself dub for his character in both the versions. The movie which will be adaptation of Surya Krishnamoorthy's play in the same title is directed by Madhav Ramdas.
