Suriya's production house is planning on being the first one to venture into Kannada film industry. KE Gnanavelraja of the production house said, “Yes, we are keen on exploring the Kannada market and want to make films here. We might be entering the market with Mynaa, which we saw and liked." The producer of the film. NS Rajkumar says, "We have plans for a multilingual release, as we have a big cast with names who are popular across different industries. But, if we do sell our film now, which is under negotiation with Suriya’s production house, we might shelve those plans."
