Suriya's 'S3' backs off, Hrithik's 'Balam' increases

Suriya-starrer 'S3' has once again hit the roadblock. Its release was postponed last month, arguably due to Demonetization. And it has once again been deferred in view of the bad law and order situation in Chennai today.

The distributors have said that they won't be releasing the actioner on Jan 26th as was planned earlier. Only hours ago, the makers had quahsed the rumours of postponement, only to find themselves doing the unthinkable hours later.

With this development, Hrithik Roshan gets a chance to rule the roost at the BO. His 'Balam', which is the dubbed version of 'Kaabil', will hit the screens on the 25th with least possible competition. He can't ask for more.
