Suriya talks about his friendship with Vijay

With Vijay's birthday fast approaching, Suriya has recalled an incident that happened during the birthday of the 'Ilaya Thalapathi' last year.

"Vijay organised a party at his home and invited me for it. I was in Mumbai at that time. When I told him that I would be reaching Chennai only at 11 pm, Vijay said 'it's okay, as the party would go on up to 12'."

Suriya, as soon as reaching the Chennai airport, drove straight to Vijay residence, took part in the party and wished him. "We would interact whenever our films hit the screens. He would invite me to watch his films," adds Suriya.

It may be noted that both Suriya and Vijay did their graduation in Loyola College.
