Suriya will be in Kochi this week, to promote Rahman's upcoming film 'Lavender'. "Suriya and Rahman share a close rapport and hence, he is coming down to Kochi for the promotions of 'Lavender'," says the film's director Altas Ali.

After sharing the screen space with Suriya in 'Singam 2', Rahman played a key role (that of Jyothika's husband) in Suriya's maiden production venture '36 Vayadhinile', it is to be noted.

Says Rahman, "I am thankful to Suriya and Jyothika for giving me a key role in '36 Vayadhinile'. Suriya is busy with 'Masss' and '24'. But still, he accepted my invitation and agreed to come to Kochi to promote 'Lavender'."
