It is a known something that Suriya enjoys good fan following in Kerala. What with the whooping collections by his films like 'Khaakha Khaakha', 'Varanam Ayiram', 'Ghajini' and 'Singam' in Kerala.

It maybe mentioned that some critics and trade analysts have also compared his BO collections in Kerala to that of Kamal Haasan and Superstar Rajinikanth.

Joining this league will be his forthcoming film '7aum Arivu', a Diwali release that has been sold to 2.4 crore INR in Kerala! This is the highest price tag a Suriya starrer has come with.

The film will see a release in there in more than 100 centres through Divya Pictures. The film directed by AR Murugadoss has Suriya and Shruti Haasan in the lead and is a sci-fi thriller and will also throw light upon Tamil tradition.

The movie will take on 'Velayudham', 'Ra.One', and Malayalam films like 'Arabeem Ottakavum, P Madhavan Nairum’ and 'Venicile Vyappari', which will be on theaters on the adjacent weeks.
