The Tamil people's support for the Big Boss show contestant Oviya is getting phenomenal day by day. For the past three weeks, the 'Kalavani' actress has been nominated for elimination but she has been saved by the viewers who have been voting for her to stay. Every week she is getting crores of votes in her favor.

Everyday social media is getting filled with posts, memes and videos where people express their love for Oviya. The show has fetched the actress an extraordinary popularity which is way more than what she achieved by acting in films. This is mainly because Oviya is behaving herself in the show and people love her bold, straight forward, honest and don't care attitude that. People are so much in love with her that those who oppose her are being trolled and abused like anything in social media.

On Friday's episode, Oviya has been targeted by almost all other contestants of their show for her alleged refusal to perform the task given to her. The contestants even went on to jointly plead to the Big Boss on camera to eliminate Oviya in this week's round of elimination,

The way Oviya walked out of the conversation with other contestants when she felt Gayathri Raghuram is trying to pick up a quarrel with her, is being compared to Ajith walking out of Dimitri the Don to start his own empire in 'Billa 2'. Another meme compare that with Rajinikanth walking out of a club after killing the enemies in last year's blockbuster 'Kabali'.

There are a lot of other memes comparing Oviya with many leading film stars. Some people have composed songs in in support of Oviya and update that in the YouTube. Others write poems in Facebook. Oviya has already become the muse of young Tamil men.

Many people threaten to quit watching Big Boss if Oviya is eliminated.
