Though not very apparent, Tamannah is having a heavy heart over the recent change in casting for a famous remake project. Director AR Murugadoss's 'Ramana' is to be remade in Hindi, by director Krish of 'Vaanam' fame. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is essaying the lead role in the movie and it was earlier decided that Tamannah should do the role of the heroine.
After her success with 'Himmatwala' with Ajay Devgn, Tamannah is ensuring that she does not leave any stone unturned, and is looking forward to doing maximum number of projects in Bollywood. However, the makers had a change of mind and cast Shruthi Hassan instead of Tamannah in the 'Ramana' remake. The reason attached to this is that they wanted to cast the heroine who had not worked with Akshay earlier. As Tamannah already acted with Akshay in a movie, she was opted out of this project.
