TamannahÂs answer is a big no to reports that she has been demanding Rs. One crore as remuneration from producers. ÂItÂs not true. My salary is not one crore, says the ÂSura heroine, clearing the air.
ÂI donÂt know how such rumours spread. Producers know what my value is and they are giving me what I deserve. I never demanded a particular amount as remuneration and one crore is not my salary, she says.
Recalling her three-year long struggle in Tamil cinema, Tamannah says, ÂMany say I am now the numero uno actress of Kollywood. But I donÂt believe it. At the same time, I would like to thank everyone who has been encouraging me.Â
On her recent release ÂSuraÂ, she says, ÂBeing part of VijayÂs 50th film is nothing short of a delight. He used to say on the sets that I am a dedicated actress. Equally dedicated he is and he is very friendly too.Â
